It is born inside a quarry.

A place where, in the past, the Lecce stone that shaped the city's Baroque style was quarried.
The same stone that today envelops guests with its silent and authentic presence.

From the quarry to the home

In the 19th century this space was a place of work, extraction, and transformation of stone.
Today it has become a welcoming space, reinterpreted with respect and contemporary sensitivity.

The Lecce stone walls have been preserved in their natural imperfection.
The typical star vaults, a distinctive element of Salento architecture, have been enhanced with clean lines and select furnishings.

The architectural intervention did not aim to add, but to subtract.
Let light, matter and silence define the experience.

A balance between history and modernity

The design is refined but measured.
Natural materials, neutral tones, modern comforts discreetly integrated.

Every choice was guided by a principle:
to create an intimate, regenerating place, far from the idea of a standardized structure.

CAVA has only four rooms.
A deliberately small size, to ensure tranquility, privacy and a personal welcome.

The light, the garden, the water

Inside the quarry, a Mediterranean garden opens up that interacts with the stone.
Native plants and open spaces give the structure a sense of space.

The private pool becomes the silent center of the experience: a rare space in the city, where time slows down and matter reflects the light of the South.

Unlike the structures in the historic center, here the space is not compressed.
It's open.
It's harmonious.

The private internal parking completes the feeling of comfort and independence.
